Mission

Here at Hot and Sour, for over a decade we have been carrying out the awe-inspiring legacy of the immigrant experience by bringing to you the Hakka cuisine our parents fell in love with back home all while dabbing into new tastes from and flavours from around the world as we made our way to Canada.

Vision

Rooted in the struggles and experiences of the Chinese immigrants to Pakistan and India, Hakka cuisine pioneered what is known as Asian fusion by developing recipes and dishes that were respectful of the ingredient and flavours of its new communities while being true to its ancestral styles and techniques of preparing and enjoying good food.
